This source uses lower case. Also who's oil campaign? do we mean the oil campaign of the Westen Allies. Not sure but I bet the U-Boats put a premium on oil tankers. -- PBS ( talk) 22:25, 26 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Here is one not so reliable source "in late 1941, the High German command ordered the 10th U-boat flotilla to begin war time operations in the Gulf of Mexico. The primary objective was to disrupt the vital flow of oil carried by tankers from ports in Texas and Louisiana and". -- PBS ( talk) 22:29, 26 March 2009 (UTC) reply
