tao or dao
Elsewhere on Wikipedia Dao seems to be favored as the romanization for 道 because Dao is what is used in Hanyu pinyin. This page uses tao which is from the outdated wade-giles system. It seems this should be changed.

excessive reliance on one source
When half the citations are from one book, I wonder about objectivity. The fact that the history is completely at variance with other sources is not something I'm qualified to address. But I suggest this page needs to be looked at by an objective expert.
