tao or dao

Elsewhere on Wikipedia Dao seems to be favored as the romanization for 道 because Dao is what is used in Hanyu pinyin. This page uses tao which is from the outdated wade-giles system. It seems this should be changed. Nosterp2145 ( talk) 04:08, 30 November 2019 (UTC) reply

excessive reliance on one source

When half the citations are from one book, I wonder about objectivity. The fact that the history is completely at variance with other sources is not something I'm qualified to address.
