You do realize it's not Makoto Ishii, right? My friend compared the Japanese and English versions, and he sounds different in both cases. In Japanese, you can tell it sounds like Ishii is trying to make Repede talk rather than bark. In English, he really sounds like a dog barking. And for those of you who plan on arguing, watch this video and listen carefully. It's not him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veLvi-tdY54&feature=channel_page Bokan ( talk) 03:24, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Bokan
"If this game does indeed release for the Xbox 360 it would result in utter failure as the primary fanbase for this series exists in Japan. The Xbox 360 has a japanese install base close to 500,000 and only two of its titles have sold over 100,000 copies in Japan. Thus it can be safely said that the people who decided to place this game on the Xbox 360 are retarded." Sounds very encyclopedic, probably worthy of uncyclopedia. Worth a daily laugh

IGN and Gamespy interviewed an employee and has it on their site. If you go to GameSpy and type in "Tales of Vesperia" it says up front JUNE 24. (Kokayi5)
There's seem to be a large amount of confusion and conflicting reports over the release date. Some places list it as TBA, others say September, and others say June. I think if this were an officially made statement reports of the date wouldn't be so varied.
Until there's an actual press release or the site's distinctly mention the release date in an interview or something, and don't just have a date up without it being mentioned in those articles or interviews, I feel the game should be TBA 2008 and stay that way until more reliable info comes. There's a "review" for the demo that was released. http://www.videogaming247.com/2008/06/20/tales-of-vesperia-demo-impressions/ There's really nothing positive the person had to say about it. It's more of a comparison than a review. As to what the comparison was to, it was Eternal Sonata. Some things that were said were that the graphics were "bland and lifeless", the music is "twee and lifeless", and it said that the English voices were horibble and they hope there will be Japanese voices with English subtitles. I thought it'd be better to put it here than the actual article itself. What do y'all think about it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.193.231.135 ( talk) 13:54, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Unlike the English releases of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss, skits in the English release of Tales of Vesperia are fully voiced by the English voice actors, which is also the case in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
Add Tales of Legendia to the end, as it had full voiced skits. 66.168.19.135 ( talk) 01:09, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Just wondering. They were there about a month ago... I swear, this non-union stuff pisses me off because they generally don't get the best actors out there (see ToS2), but in this game, where they hired some really damn good people, it's not union and they don't put the actors in the credits.
