One Stick

The "Valencian Tabor Player" picture (Mare de Déu de la Salut 28.jpg) clearly shows a man with two sticks, but the text says "It is played by just one short conical stick." And the sticks in his hands look like regular drum sticks. I don't know whether the picture or the text is correct, but maybe it is "usually", "usually (but not always)" played.. or something would be appropriate. Or a more correct picture.
