Abdju/Abydos

It would seem that the 8th Nome of Upper Egypt is also referred to as Abdju or Abydos; On the Swedish wiki, they have been using both terms since 2010, with Abdju as primary and Ta-Wer as secondary. Could we mention this in the article? Wcichello ( talk) 12:36, 18 September 2020 (UTC) reply

Hello, so far as I can see they are simply wrong. The 8th Nome of Upper Egypt was always and only called Ta-wer. Abdju/Abydos was the most famous town, but not even the capital. I checked their references and those are mostly rather amateurish websites (many are down). -- Udimu ( talk) 21:07, 18 September 2020 (UTC) reply
