This article states that the Earnslaw's maiden voyage to Queenstown was on 24 February 1912. A plaque commemorating the ship's building close to Dunedin Railway Station claims its maiden voyage was on 18 October 1912. Which is correct? Grutness... wha? 03:25, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
I have had a brief look into the archives of Lloyd's Register. So far, I have found a listing for TS Earnslaw in 1960 [1], and in 1971 [2]. However, it is far from clear that listing on the register was continued. I can't find it in 1981, or in 1991. It might be necessary to remove the claim about it being the last coal-fired passenger vessel on the register.-- Marshelec ( talk) 03:03, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
