Has anyone seen TLA for Two Letter Abbreviation/Acronym? Does anyone have a better page/category name for it? samwaltz 05:55, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I'm fairly sure this qualifies for addition, but Dicklyon keeps reverting, so I'll raise the issue here for discussion. A Google search seems to indicate that TLA is a common-usage acronym. 2 articles link to Textile Labour Association, one of which uses the acronym TLA within the article text. Those seem to satisfy the rationales provided for the reversions ( [1], [2], [3]). Is there any other guideline criterion that is relevant, or unsatisfied? Thanks. -- Quiddity ( talk) 07:05, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

This has been repeatedly added by an IP editor, but the abbreviation "TLA" is not mentioned in the target article.
This exactly matches the situation illustrated in MOS:DABINITIALS for "The British Soap Awards".
If the abbreviation is commonly used for the band, add that fact to the band's article, with a source to support that statement. Then come back and add it to this disambiguation page. Until the abbreviation is mentioned in the article, it has no place on this disambiguation page. Pam D 09:04, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
