While citing sources in the infobox maybe necessary there is never a reason to clutter the box with 11 instances of the same two sources. Otr500 ( talk)
The purpose of the lead is as an introduction to the article and a "summary of its most important contents". This means that with possible rare exceptions content in the lead should be found in the body of the article. Concerning lead sourcing, the MOS states "and be carefully sourced as appropriate". Further down MOS:CITELEAD provides that any lead sourcing follow "challenged or likely to be challenged", usually on controversial material, and if the lead summaries sourced content found in the body of the article that is unlikely to happen so a lead can be perfectly fine without a single source. Instances of three, four, or even six citations is totally unnecessary. There is no mandate or prohibition but many better classed articles either do not use lead citations or possibly only one or two. Otr500 ( talk)
The Design and specifications section contains 15 citations to the same reference and 14 of those are in the same paragraph. The Construction subsection has four citations used redundantly on adjoining sentences and two of those are the same as the one used 15 times already. Otr500 ( talk)
For readability as well as article aesthetics many of the citations can be trimmed. I am just getting my feet wet again after a break and have too many irons in the fire. If this remains unchanged I will see about some trimming. Otr500 ( talk) 07:22, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
