I went ahead and removed a line stating that a cuirass was worn during the hoplitodromos, since all of the evidence says that only a helmet and shield was worn, plus greaves until 450 BC. That said, that this runner isn't wearing greaves does raise a question as to whether the statue originally had greaves, but I'm not going to put conjecture like that in the article.
