merge from X-ray Tomography
x-ray tomography either needs to be merged here, or merged with computed tomography. What is the difference between the name Computed tomography and X-ray tomography. Computed tomography could also be called x-ray tomography

The merger of this with Computed tomography would be a mistake. There is a lot of missing data on CT for diagnostic imaging that I believe in the end will dwarf this section. Synchrotron X-ray computed microtomography (CμT) section is small now but it will grow alot as well. the connection between these is pretty loose, Computed tomography for medical imaging is quite diorrerent than a "non-destructive technique for imaging porous and compositionally heterogeneous samples in three dimensions at the microscale" from Image optimization and analysis of synchrotron X-ray computed microtomography (CμT) data,
Dawn A etal. So they will in the end be split again.

Synchrotron X-ray sources are considerably more powerful than conventional X-ray sources. While conventional X-ray sources are typically self-contained in the equipment, you need a massive (external) synchrotron as an X-ray source in the other.
