Can we get the information on why the club song can not be put into this entry. I have seen it now put in twice and removewd twice due to copyright issues. I think it would be good to have it in the article if we can. Is it the Sydney Swans or the AFL or other who object to it being published here?
I note that the article currently suggests that the Swans share a bitter rivalry with the Brisbane Lions. Speaking as a Lions supporter myself, I find this doubtful. If anything the Swans would be the second team of many Brisbane supporters even if only as fellow northern-staters; AFL success in Sydney has flow-on effects to Queensland in terms of improved media coverage of the game. I'd have thought Sydney has a much greater rivalry with clubs such as Collingwood or the Kangaroos before you'd even mention Brisbane.-- The Brain of Morbius 00:51, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
Is this section necessary? Apart from not being a very important aspect of the club, it is always going to be open to all sorts of debate. JPD 15:25, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
Fair comment, but I would argue that neither page should have this section. If such a list is worth having, I think it is more appropriate on a separate page, as in the Brisbane Lions case. JPD 08:43, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
OK, I'll agree to using the end of season positions, but I'd like to know where this info is being referenced from? Also, using end of season figures, B.Halls goals for 2005 is wrong. I'll change it. Anubis1975 11:44, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
What do people think about a round by round table of the 2006 season being maintained in this article? Anubis1975 11:48, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
While the average crowds for Swans games are higher than for rugby league games it should be noted that there are nine NRL teams located in Sydney. Perhaps a comparison should be made to other sports where there is only one team in town such as the Waratahs, Sydney FC and Sydney Kings. Soundabuser 13:43, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
I was hoping to find some information about the design of the current logo for Sydney Opera House. Stating that the logo is based on the opera house is WP:OR - does anyone have any press information from when the current logo was launched which may be useful at Sydney Opera House#Symbolism?
