This is largely from memory and oral history, and I hope it will develop. In particular:

The second paragraph of this article reads like gobbledegook. There is no explanation for any of the (jargon) terms used. In addition, in all the articles on different types of cymbals is there a diagram of what the various parts are. (What's the "bell"?) Only someone extremely familiar with cymbal terminology and construction could ever make sense of this article, and that defeats the whole purpose, n'est ce pas?
