Is she related to the owners of the Boston area Tesdechi's convenicne store chain?
I see that someone added the
Derek Trucks Band as an associated band for Susan. I understand the rationale, but does it make sense to add this band to her associated acts list, when she served as guest-vocalist on one song from one album, and has appeared as a guest vocalist on limited songs in some live shows? She has never been a member of Derek's band, and hasn't really been extensively involved in his band, except as a guest performer from time to time, and by virtue of being married to that band's titular lead. Personally, I think DTB should be removed as an associated act for Susan (it's not listed for
Warren Haynes,
Gregg Allman,
Solomon Burke,
Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, or any of the other musicians who have had guest appearances with the Derek Trucks Band in the studio or on stage). -

"Her guitar playing is influenced by [...] Doyle Bramhall."
According to the article on Doyle Bramhall II, Doyle Bramhall was a drummer, not a guitarist. Was Susan influenced by Bramhall's songwriting, or by her contemporary Bramhall II's guitar playing? I'm going to assume the latter and make an edit, but if someone knows better, please clarify. — Erik Harris 14:57, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
The career section seems to be editorialized quite a lot, talking about her "spectacular stage presence." Also, the article needs more references I think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peslick ( talk • contribs) 20:41, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
I would like to see the photo of Tedeschi, 2007, already placed in the article, put into the infobox. Would someone please help? I can't seem to get it right. Thanks. -- leahtwosaints ( talk) 09:21, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Susan's name, so far as I can tell, (and I know a member of her band, I'll check..) is Susan Tedeschi, both personally and professionally. Either way, unless you can provide a reference that she's changing it all to "Tedeschi-Trucks", do not change her name in the info box, please.-- leahtwosaints ( talk) 13:47, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Please don't put references for the article in the external links section. Put them here! Oh, first, look at the Ron Holloway article. There's a ton of stuff moved to his talk page. Many of them can be used (REALLY well) in the articles on Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and the band page and individual member's articles for The Derek Trucks Band.-- Leahtwosaints ( talk) 17:15, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Now, other links: New York Times article on Trucks and Tedeschi. Especially helpful are newer links, explaining Tedeschi's change of a backing band and year-long expected hiatus from touring. -- Leahtwosaints ( talk) 09:33, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Might someone want to add the fact she has also played with Bob Dylan. And enjoyed it!
