There don't appear to be any set criteria for what constitutes a theatrically notable show. However, the article as I have just edited it suggests notability through:
I don't think I understand why this show is significant enough to include in Wikipedia. Can someone tell me why it's more notable than, say, Jimmy Tingle's Off-Broadway one-man show in Cambridge, MA? Tim Pierce 13:22, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Perhaps I don't understand the nature of Tim's inquiry: if his hypothetical show can be substantiated by verifiable sources, why wouldn't he consider it "significant enough" to include? Or is there a special standard to which Wikipedia should hold American Plays —
As a point of clarification, the show currently in question — Supernatural Chicago — can be readily verified, has garnered considerable media attention, and has had a lengthy run in a major theater city of Chicago.
••If so, then perhaps Hal Holbrook's entry should be merged with the entry for his show, Mark Twain Tonight.
