"Some gamers oppose the enhanced remake idea. There are also some gamers who formerly opposed the idea, but have begun to support it."
Do we really need statements like this? That sounds pretty obvious. Perhaps we should add "there are also some gamers who formerly supported the idea, but have begun to oppose it".
This page also fails to mention the obvious diffrent versions of the game. For example, the US & Europe versions and the combo carts that included Super Mario World
Any one else find this page to be written with painfully bad punctuation etc. And why are gifs inserted directly into the text?! This is not an IM or some blog, its a encyclopædia for the love of IPU. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crollz ( talk • contribs) 00:49, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Anyone fancy taking new screenshots for the two versions of SMB3 so they show the same scene? Rufous 16:46, 1 May 2005 (UTC)
Will someone please submit the SMB2 original shot without a graphics-smoothing emulator engine in place? This isn't true to the console. Alvis 07:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
I have played Super Mario All-Stars on the Gameboy Advance. But when I went out to buy it, I can't even find any record of it existing. What is going on? Am I missing something, is it under a different name? If the game exists (which is does) it should be included here under plateforms - Rowan 12:09, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
SMB: Super Mario All-stars/Collection version
...Collisions with the pipe-plants include the top eight pixels (in the original, all enemies except Bowser collided as 16x16, even if they looked larger)...
What does all this mean? 131.202.140.124 18:34, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
..in this article? I understand that there seems to be reference to the Super Mario All-Stars/SMW pack, but the article seems to be specifically about Super Mario All-Stars. In addition to this, the section just below that refers to reception, apart from being uncited, causes reader confusion as it looks as if it might be referring to Super Mario World. It is my opinion that the SMW section in the page be deleted. How do you all feel about this? EnglishEfternamn talk contribs 22:06, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
is there no way to delete a save game? i see that you can change zones by pressing left and right. what if you want to restart without items etc.. i just found out to delete it you press a. think we could put a part about the level select screen and saving/switching controls? it's kind of in-depth but shouldn't take up too much room. 69.118.89.29 20:36, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Part of the text in the first paragraph is blocked by an image. This one: "Unlike the original game, the (player now gets this time) bonus after finishing each World's big castle (World x-4) as well." The bit in brackets is blocked. 58.178.172.197 10:50, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm surprised this isn't on here - in the original, when you break a brick, you encounter immediate resistance and bounce off, the same as if you hit a solid block. In the remakes, when you break bricks they give a little and you pass partially through where they were. This as far as I know is the only difference that can dramatically alter the gameplay (especially if you have certain parts memorized and are counting on the same physics as the original game - I found that out the hard way a couple times!) Rglong 01:12, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
The screen shots for super mario world at the bottom of the page are identical, not correctly one from the older game, one from the remake. No idea how to fix. Samadam 19:28, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone remember getting this game as a free offer? I don't know if it was when I bought my SNES but I remember having a voucher to mail in and I got Super Mario All-Stars for free. Maybe it was the pack-in version and there was a shortage of carts at shipping time? Not sure. Was just curious if anyone else remembers the voucher. This is in the United States btw. There is a conflict in the edit summary as to whether all the changes to the games featured should be mentioned. The changes were reverted twice so I think it's time we discuss which ones are good for the article and which ones are unnecessary or too trivial. If anyone has the Super Mario All-stars official Nintendo Players Guide, please look up page 6 and you will find these changes. NintendoFan ( Talk, Contribs) 01:49, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
