After doing as little research, I discovered the Superdome has an agreement with MB for only 10 years, so by the time SB LVIII takes place the agreement will have ended, so it's really the Louisiana Superdome. Shim119 ( talk) 11:49, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
While it is true that it would be NBC's turn in the Super Bowl network rotation, is there anything to verify that it will be NBC? As far as I knew, the deal with the current rotation (CBS, Fox, NBC) is to expire after Super Bowl LVII, which will be on Fox (February 2023). Johnsmith2116 ( talk) 19:17, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

I came to this article for the purpose of reading about the two conference championships. (As I write this, both the AFC and NFC games will be held 4 days from today.) Laughably, the article doesn't explain WHO is playing - all we read is that "the AFC" plays "the NFC". No, they don't. The AFC Championship TEAM plays the NFC Champs. (The two AFC contenders are the Ravens and the Chiefs and for the NFC it's the 49ers and the Lions with the respective winners playing two weeks later at the Superbowl.) I understand that this article started years ago, but the fact that the basics (Who, What, Why, Where, When, and How) aren't present is really lame. 98.21.213.85 ( talk) 17:23, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

Although it was disproven with the Chiefs win yesterday, should the Super Bowl logo conspiracy be added to the article? It seems like there's significant coverage of it for an addition in this article.

Should this be covered? Excerpt summary:
In the regular season, there’s one and only one overtime period. It lasts up to 10 minutes. If it ends with one team leading, that team wins. (It’s possible for one team to be leading, since regular-season overtime guarantees a second possession if the first one concludes with only a field goal. Time could run out before the team that got the second possession is able to score.) If it ends with the score tied, it’s a tie.
In the postseason, the end of the first overtime period doesn’t end anything. From the rulebook: “If the score is tied at the end of a 15-minute overtime period, or if the second team’s initial possession has not ended, another overtime period will begin, and play will continue, regardless of how many 15-minute periods are necessary.”

I recently added this line in the advertising section: "Two commercials, one through the Patriots owner Robert Kraft that urged people to "Stand up to Jewish Hate" and advocated for Palestinians, and another by the Israeli government highlighting the Israel-Hamas hostage crisis drew some criticism.". After the Eagles went into halftime up 24–14, the Chiefs mounted a comeback to win the game 38–35 with a game-winning field goal kicked by Harrison Butker. In this article, it could read,

Rockchalk717, you should follow WP:BRD and discuss after I reverted you, rather than revert again. Instead of edit war, I'll seek consensus. Regarding this revert, should records of "zero" be included? NBC Sports noted that there were no kickoff returns in the game. Sources also noted that there were no rushing touchdowns. Seems relevant enough to include to me. – Muboshgu ( talk) 23:36, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
