Location of Subiculum

I read elsewhere that the Subiculum is a part of the Parahippocampal Gyrus (Medical Dictionary: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/subiculum). That seems to contradict its placement by the current article within the Hippocampal Formation. Are these just two contrary yet accepted views, two different ways of saying the same thing, or is the other article just plain wrong?
