Styal Line — Seems official and common usage. Airport Line only seems to refer to the spur or a potential extension of the Manchester Metrolink

I have not seen any evidence that this is the official name. Indeed, Network Rail does not admit that the line has an official name. In that context, we would need to work on finding the best descriptive name, which is a very different question. It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. -- Stemonitis 06:29, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
most trains calling at all stops now start from manchester picc (normally plat 9) and terminate at either the airport, wilmslow or crewe Dasy2k1 ( talk) 14:56, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
