If he has 8 murder convictions, can he really be labelled an 'alleged' serial killer? I hope no one minds if I remove the word. 24.131.12.228 03:35, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

It is widely believed in Sweden that Quick is innocent, that he is making the whole thing up. For example, the parents of murdered Johan Asplund claims he is innocent and also the famous criminologist Leif G. W. Persson claims that he makes it all up. Today Aftonbladet published an article where Quick takes back all his confessions. [1] I think someone should re-write the article. Miantonimah ( talk) 16:11, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Should I translate and transfer the information about the status of the different murders from the swedish page? I'm refering to this particular info: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Quick#Mord_erk.C3.A4nda_under_behandlingstiden That table contains more detailed info on confessions, verdicts and the subesequent appeals and their current status. Wikipedia's policy on article titles. The Wall Street Journal article today explains, that yes, Bergwall has convictions for earlier crimes, but that the eight murders convictions he was convicted of have been quashed. The article made no mention of the earlier convictions that were less serious offences than murder, and said that Sture Bergvall is a convicted Swedish criminal in the lead.
The article is very wordy, and yet unclear. RPSM ( talk) 14:34, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

When I search for this article in the app, it shows up as following:
Sture Bergwall Swedish serial killer
He was acquitted from *all* of the eight murders he was convicted for, so it's really strange to use "serial killer" as a subtitle. Not only because he isn't convicted for a single murder, he's also taken back all of his claims of being guilty for the 30 murders he previously has claimed himself being guilty of, and there's almost consensus that he is telling the truth this time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.228.169.69 ( talk) 20:38, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
