The reference to a "faith healer" reported by Murdoch to have cured his CFS illness is sourced to a personal blog. The reference has existed in this article for a long time, but it also currently appears to redirect to an unrelated article. (First appeared here: https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Stuart_Murdoch_(musician)&oldid=290072815) Either way, it is not a reliable source so I will remove the information and the reference entirely. This article could be quite a bit more organized. It tends to jump around. Someone who's a better writer than me should clean it up. 18.246.7.129 04:19, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
I think the detail of Murdoch's sexuality is relevant to the bio. It's often referenced in profiles in the mainstream press, and conflict and anxiety about sexuality and gender roles are a very frequent theme in his lyrics. The information also helps to clarify his relationship to institutional Christianity, which at the moment is a prominent subject of the article. Please discuss the matter here before deleting again. The opening paragraph includes a fairly typical summary of who he is, but then the way it throws "He also suffers from ME." in at the end feels very out of place - shouldn't this only be in the Personal Life section? Giovata ( talk) 07:14, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
