I was thinking that this might work well in a table form:
Command | Area | Unit | HQ | Commander | Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Northern Command | York | Lieutenant General Sir William Bartholomew | |||
Northumbrian Area | 5th Infantry Division | Aldershot | Maj-Gen Harold Alexander | Regular |
Also, the page could do with a picture. I have been trying to find a 1939 image of Northern Command or Aldershot Command without much luck. If anyone has any suggestions (or comments on changing this to a table), let me know! Heywoodg 13:28, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
