Why are garbage "opinion" sentences allowed in this article without sources? Example: "In some cases this disguises blemishes or areas of their figure they are not comfortable with, or could simply be to prevent those parts of the outfit from being misplaced." Really? We need an encyclopedia to speculate that an all-nude stripper might leave some clothing on to cover up some cellulite or (perhaps) just because she's forgetful and might misplace her G-string before leaving the stage? - AppleBsTime ( talk) 03:33, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
The first few paragraphs establish how male strippers are now just as normal as female strippers, but almost every other paragraph refers to all strippers with feminine pronouns or even simply as 'female'. "Sexuality and gender bias" seems much more like advice than information. It seems to address male strippers in the first few sentences (approach women displaying open body language), then advises women on how to get male strippers to approach them(dancers avoid women who look unfriendly or mean). It becomes glaringly obvious that this is supposed to be advice when it says "In order to become approached, men must-" This is an encyclopaedia, not a pickup artist's book. (My apologies if I'm doing something wrong, I am very new to Wikipedia and I've never done more than fixing grammar and typos) Henriio ( talk) 02:18, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
Well, it does. Different cultures, history, notable individuals etc. Btljs ( talk) 13:11, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
The very first photo in this article has nudity. I don't think the very first article should have this -- it should be moved further down just to be considerate to others who might click on the article an don't want to see that sort of thing. Professor Penguino ( talk) 01:09, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
