1.In the section of “Factors which influence stain partitioning”, add a paragraph that describe those factors and put reference after text (not in the title part). 2.Is there an example for “Strain Factorization”? 3.Is there an example for the section of “Individual deformation mechanisms”? 4.The Figure of “Simplistic illustration of different deformation mechanism” can be aligned at right side (not in the middle). 5.The layout of the “Individual strain components” section can be improved. 6.There are several broken links to internal wiki pages.
Great summary in your intro! Since the page for dilation (geology) doesn't exist, perhaps link to a standard definition of Dilation or not link it at all? Up to you.
It seems kind of strange to me to begin your page with a bullet point list, but I can't find anything wrong with it. You might change the title of the "Subdivisions" section. For instance, Subdivisions of what exactly?
The figure on the right side of the page, "Conceptual illustration of strain factorization," could perhaps be aligned with the subsection it specifically pertains to, rather than stretching over several sections. Try changing where the code is on your page to change where the picture displays, maybe? This also applies to the figure on the left side, the block diagram. The figure at the bottom looks strange just being there in the middle of the page, I feel moving that to one side or the other would be a good idea.
I like that you included a See Also section with related topics. Overall good page, good work.
Was intrigued by the in the DYK queue, but have a suggestion: that you specify geology in the first sentence. Would changing it from "Strain partitioning is commonly referred to as a deformation process . . . " to "Strain partitioning refers to a geological deformation process . . . " be ok?
