as seen in this link on page 3 in the link below it is clear that Stop AAPI Hate only reviewed republicans tweets and the article was wrote before the 2020 election. That wouldn't mean much but it does because Donald Trump was at the top of the list despite the fact that he wasn't the person who used the most Rhetoric in his tweets.

While St Anselem brings up a valid point that we can't have a list of every Asian murdered in the US I would still like to include some of the most central murders to the movement. Thoughts? Juno ( talk) 05:17, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
We could defer to sources. Some murders are documented by reliable sources as being a foundational motivator for the movement. Juno ( talk) 04:38, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
Page watchers are invited to help improve 2021 anti-Asian violence rallies. Thanks! --- Another Believer ( Talk) 02:06, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
Another Believer If you are watching this article, would you assist in reverting constant vandalism by IPs who are confused about the difference between "Stop AAPI Hate" and "Stop Asian Hate"? I just undid a bad merge. I think this page may be a candidate for some protection, but have no idea what the process is. Pinging StAnselm who may have some suggestions. Thanks WomenArtistUpdates ( talk) 15:19, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
I think there is some difference that's not captured here. The larger movement is usually called "Stop Asian Hate" and not "Stop AAPI".
The difference is the spontaneous movements that seems all unrelated and at some point got grouped together under the same umbrella.
Stop AAPI started before the Atlanta Asian shootings but Stop Asian Hate was spontaneously started in 2021 with that specific incident.
The intro says "The organization was formed in 2020 in response to increased racially motivated violence against Asian people as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.". Is there really any solid base for the statement that the Anti-Asian hate crimes where mostly or predominantly caused by COVID-19 and not by other factors?
