I'm only a consumer of and donor to Wikipedia but listening to this podcast about the early days of Stevie Ray Vaughan by local DFW radio/podcast personality, Mike Rhyner. Much of the content in the podcast is not in Stevie's Wikipedia article and probably not considered a reliable source. But here is the link for what it is: https://vokalnow.com/video/4280 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ssalava42 ( talk • contribs) 14:34, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
This article is well written and gives a honorable portrayal of the monumental legend of SRV. That look, style and vibe were epic.
1. "Brandenburg described the performance as "ungodly".
Brandenburg ... who was he anyway?
2. In the "Guitars" section of the article I see James Hamilton and Jim Hamilton. Are they the same person?
3a. This article had an image of SRV's childhood home in the "Live Alive tour" section which disappeared.
3b. The article as a whole lacks images that should be added to add more flavor and color to the article. SRV had an image that deserves to be saluted by images of him on stage with his band.

3b. I'm not saying that any image of SRV that looks decent should be added to this article. If an image can be used here I encourage readers to add it since I see a lack of quality images of SRV and his band. There are very few and it would be nice to see one of SRV and Double Trouble, perhaps from Austin City Limits.

FMSky, please explain to me why you are reverting a simple edit to change alcohol abuse, a needless stigmatizing term, to alcohol use disorder, the actual name of the condition. Thanks. TylerDurden8823 ( talk) 11:24, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
@ TylerDurden8823: actually, what i just noted, we even have two different articles for it. the article Alcoholism even says "This article is about chronic alcohol abuse that results in significant health problems. For alcohol abuse in general, see Alcohol abuse." - so yeah, exactly like i said, just alcohol (ab)use in general isnt the same as having a freaking disorder. Your mass changes are literally introducing factual errors and i ask you kindly to stop it -- FMSky ( talk) 18:52, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I have recently found this gem, a video of Stevie Ray Vaughan improvising in the studio during a soundcheck in 1989 in Ardent Studios in Memphis, and released under CC-By on Youtube by the person filming : File:Stevie Ray Vaughan soundcheck in the studio in 1989.webm. Where would this video best fit ? Along the lead section (maybe taking too much space)? in the "musical style" section (where it could be missed)? Skimel ( talk) 00:49, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
