I amended this from scored direct from a goal kick to from open play as it was a fly kick Ogrizovic scored from and not a goal kick. Statto74 ( talk) 15:45, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Does anyone remember another hoax regarding Ogrizovic. When asked the question 'who in the year 2000 had survived the Munich air disaster' and was still playing proffessional football, the answer was Steve Ogrizovic (Hoax). The rationale was that his mother was an air stewardess on the plane at the time and was pregnant with Steve. I had believed this for years until now I realised that Steve was born one year before the air disaster took place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.88.195.46 ( talk) 19:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
The answer you were thinking of was John Lukic. But this is patently false as the crash happened nearly three years before Lukic's birth. While there was a Mrs Lukic on board the plane, who did survive (along with her young daughter), she is not in any way related to him. Statto74 ( talk) 16:52, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Have amended the date from 1977 to 1978 as Peter McDonnell was the unused sub in 77, Oggy was on the bench in the first leg of the 1978 Super Cup and played in the second leg. Statto74 ( talk) 13:52, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
I have removed Sir Viv from his list of victims as although he clean bowled Richards, it was from a No Ball and didn't count! Statto74 ( talk) 13:52, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
