Notability established

I think the six references and three "further reading" in regional and national media, spanning the years 2016–2019, establish notability. The governing criterion appears to be WP:GEOLAND, "Populated places without legal recognition are considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the GNG...given non-trivial coverage in multiple, independent reliable sources." Nine independent, reliable sources, more than meet the criterion. ☆ Bri ( talk) 20:23, 27 January 2019 (UTC) reply

I feel like the subject would be better covered alongside the other proposals for the same region under a single article, like Partition and secession in Washington (state) or Eastern Washington secession. There's been so many (Lincoln, Cascadia, Liberty) over decades that are fairly similar in scope. Sounder Bruce 02:45, 28 January 2019 (UTC) reply
Given that this is likely not to pass like other bills from 1985 onwards, perhaps it would be best to merge into a section on the Eastern Washington page. Sounder Bruce 07:36, 9 March 2019 (UTC) reply
