I live around South Bend, so I will try to get pictures of the Cove soon. If I'm lucky, I'll get a decent photo from the air, since I'm a frequent flier. -- Tysto 06:44, 2005 May 18 (UTC)
The team was sold recently and also had a major renovation. If someone is free that'd be nice to put in the article. http://www.wndu.com/hometop/headlines/South_Bend_Silver_Hawks_Sold_But_Staying_in_Town_134399308.html
This is mentioned (but not yet cited) in the article. Does this warrant an article name change? Mapsax ( talk) 00:41, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
I've done a quick and dirty addition of the reference... fell free to tidy it up but it's better than nothing... and removed the citation needed tag. Andrewa ( talk) 21:00, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
There has been some discussion of my (now reverted) move close [3] and also of the corresponding article content revert at User talk:Andrewa#Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium RM. Input from other parties would be appreciated, either here or there. Andrewa ( talk) 00:33, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
The result of the proposal was not moved. -- BDD ( talk) 22:00, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium → Four Winds Field at Stanley Coveleski Stadium – New naming rights pending approval --Relisted. -- tariqabjotu 15:11, 22 September 2013 (UTC) Mapsax ( talk) 12:05, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
See User talk:Andrewa#Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium RM for some discussion of this move, which I had closed. Note that I said there that I have no objection to the relisting, but suggested that move review was more likely to produce good results.
Particular issues:
Comments welcome either there or here. Andrewa ( talk) 20:55, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Is there a difference in scope between Stanley Coveleski Stadium and Four Winds Field?
The reason I ask is of course that, to an outsider, the names Four Winds Field at Stanley Coveleski Stadium and Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium seem to cover related topics but with different scopes, the former more specific than the latter, and we need to decide which of these topics is to be the focus of the article. But if Four Winds Field is the whole of Stanley Coveleski Stadium rather than just part of a larger complex, then that isn't a consideration.
Local politics (and particularly those concerning naming rights negoatiations) do often lead to such confusing names. The article needs to make this clear, and that's probably far more important then the article title is. Andrewa ( talk) 17:48, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
See Sports Authority Field at Mile High for a possibly parallel case.
It may be that, in the USA, such names are common and easily understood. But Wikipedia is for all English readers, and for me this is somewhat confusing. Andrewa ( talk) 00:38, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
