My grandad Evg. V. C. Zachariah was one of the them who left and is mentioned in the passage
I am a witness to many of the happenings in the Mar Thoma Church between 1947 and 1961. I know personally many of the members who joined the St. Thomas Evangelical Church. Neduvelilmathew ( talk) 15:28, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
In Aug 2017, seven years of edits were removed and are not revertible under a "copyright claim." How can so many years of independent edits be removed and decided thusly?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.27.229.237 ( talk) 16:56, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Regarding the edit [1] on St. Thomas Evangelical Church, I still don't like it. Unfortunately, I can't read the Google Books reference; it seems once the site gets a few hits on an item, it rejects further ones with a message that some limit has been reached. I did reread the passage from Mark 7. I think it's the phrasing I don't like, "further reducing the church's human baggage (traditions) picked up along its journey through history". I find the phrase "human baggage" odd, though I understand what 'baggage' means in the sense that I've dated a few people who brought more to the relationship than could be stored in the overhead compartment. It still doesn't seem clear what is being said here. Also, "picked up along its journey through history" seems a bit flowery and verbose for an encyclopedia.
Normally, I would be on my way, and leave Wikipedia to work its magic, but this article has fewer than 30 watchers. So in the interest of WP:BRD, can I challenge you to find a clearer rewording? Cheers. Willondon ( talk) 04:19, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
