I think this article will be better off merged with its sequel, unless we can find secondary sources to document the notability of this show on its own.-- Nsevs • Talk 20:28, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
@ Anurag suman m. p. and Kaitudi: Since both of you have been embroiled in whatever cleanup you have done to this section, when I flagged the cast section for cleanup the first and second time, I included links to WP:TVCAST, which should have been the guidelines you both were adhering to. It is somewhat frustrating that Anurag deleted the cleanup templates apparently without actually looking at these guidelines. So I'm curious why the cast list looks nothing like what that guideline suggests, and why we needlessly wind up with duplicated cast members across a multitude of episodes.
The purpose of a cast list is to organise cast members according to their introduction into the series. The version I currently see is partly a cast list for season 1, which includes sloppy, confusing slashes, and the season two list diverges from cast list and seems to be an episode list. But in an episode list, it would seem we'd provide details about each episode, rather than a cast list, so that doesn't seem to work here either. I mean, somehow, random children managed to compile List of PAW Patrol episodes, yet I don't see any needless cast/character lists there. Is there a rhyme or reason to the changes you're making here, or is this totally random? I'm hoping experienced television article editor AussieLegend can offer some guidance, because this seems an amorphous confusion. Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 01:11, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
Please don't this cast and episode list. If you want to make changes, then you can change name of this section "Season 2" according to these arrangements. But please don't edit this cast and episode list. Kaitudi ( talk) 19:20, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
@ Anurag suman m. p. and Kaitudi: While I understand the both of you are working to flesh out the information in this article, the removal of clarification templates without actually resolving the issue is not constructive. Some of the content is entirely confusing to someone like me who has never seen the series, and my attempts to fix it have been reverted, and my efforts to have one of you clarify the content, has also not had useful results. Example:
Here, thinking it was a nickname, I changed it to:
Anurag said it was not a nickname and changed it back to the first confusing version. I then flagged it for clarification. Anurag then changed it to:
So what does that mean? I still have no idea, because now it looks like a nickname, but an incorrectly formatted one. Kaitudi then changed it back to the first, confusing version, saying "these are different characters".
So what are we trying to communicate here? Are there two characters, Rajveer Malhotra and Raj Malhotra? Does Rajveer not have a last name? Are they twins? Are they related somehow? How come nobody is bothering to use complete thoughts to present this content, like:
How is anybody supposed to know what all these ambiguous slashes mean? Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 17:49, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
"Raj Malhotra" is the reincarnation of "Rajveer" and "Uma" is the reincarnation of "Vibha" and they are lovers on their previous birth and separated by a ghost named "Chandrika". And In their next birth they kill Chandrika and live happily. Kaitudi ( talk) 09:17, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi Cyphoidbomb, I had fixed the issue. Kaitudi ( talk) 09:28, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
@ BHAGWAN and Anurag suman m. p.: Do either of you have a plan for the list of episodes section? It's been in the article for a long time, and apparently whomever created it has never seen a proper episode list at Wikipedia. Currently this section is basically a duplicate of the cast listing, which is already problematic, as it doesn't quite resemble a normal cast list. In the episode list, there are no episode summaries, which one would intuitively expect to find in an episode list. See SpongeBob SquarePants (season 8)#Episodes for example. Any clarity that either of you could bring to this issue, would be appreciated, thank you. Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 16:07, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
I make edits in cast list as mentioned in its episodes on hotstar. The name of characters in the series is difficult to remember. If this is not allowed I am sorry. BHAGWAN ( talk) 07:27, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
