MRRaja001: I find your message confusing since I did provide a reason, namely correcting a typo, which would seem to be a good, uncontroversial reason for fixing it quickly without waiting around for a broad consensus to form around changing a single letter. I'm not sure why you felt it necessary to emphasise that titles should be accurate and intuitive, since my edit summary implied I believed "-raya to be more accurate. I had been reading something that said he was bestowed the name "-raya (rather than "-raja), and the article itself (still) lists "Sripadaraya" (not "-raja") under "Honors" in the infobox, so I felt confident the title was a simply a mistake. That was months ago, and I honestly no longer remember what I was reading. Maybe it was wrong & so was I. I'm sure you know this subject area better than I do, so if you say "-raja is correct I believe you; my mistake. --

Scyrme: Firstly yes, I know more than you do because I am a follower of Madhva Sampradaya. Secondly, there is even a matha of Sripadaraja by his name —
Sripadaraja Matha for which he served as pontiff. Thirdly, most of the prominent references such as Sharma, Kinsley, Potter and many prominent sources used Sripadaraja as his name not Sripadaraya. I want to give you some more clarity, In Karnataka every prominent person is called with ending name as Raya instead of 'Rao' or 'Raja'. The name which he got is "Śrīpādarāja" not Sripadaraya. I hope I answered your question. - MRRaja001(
