I'm wondering how we can point out the fact that this venue will be somewhat similar to the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm in the sense that it will be a similar shape. Any ideas? -- MusicAndArtFan ( talk) 19:44, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
"MSG Sphere at The Venetian" appears to be the official name and the more common name. A Google search brings up 7,730 results for "MSG Sphere Las Vegas" (enclosed in quotation marks) vs. 11,700 results for "MSG Sphere at The Venetian". Newslibrary also shows this to be the common name, with 228 search results vs. 34. "MSG Sphere Las Vegas" was the initial name used at the time of the project's announcement, but it has seen little usage in sources since the project broke ground in September 2018. Since then, "MSG Sphere at The Venetian" has been primarily used. The page should probably be renamed if there are no objections. AJFU ( talk) 17:08, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
I will go ahead and rename the page next week if there are no objections. AJFU ( talk) 15:17, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
Now that the venue is complete, does anyone have a new photo we can use of the completed venue? -- IndustryPlantCooper ( talk) 19:14, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
It is requested that a photograph of The Sphere (please make a at least 5 seconds-gif/caption, preferably when the building changes its colors/look) be
included in this article to
improve its quality.

Sphere at the Venetian Resort →
Sphere (venue) – Based on what I am seeing, it appears as if the venue is simply going simply by "Sphere". I figure it is best to label it as a venue, but regardless, "at the Venetian Resort" does not appear to be in the name based on my research.

The Other Locations section seem to no longer be relevant. The Sphere London proposal was rejected last month. Secondly, MSG has made no effort in recent years to develop Spheres in other places. Lastly, the Sphere here in Las Vegas is not owned by MSG anymore, but by Vici properties which owns the Venetian after it was sold by Las Vegas Sands. -- LasVegasGirl93 ( talk) 00:19, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
To me, much of the cultural relevance and conversation around the Sphere is criticism. People think it is a waste of money, they hate the U2 opening, they don't like how it looks, whatever, but a lot of the things said about the Sphere are negative. I think it would make a lot of sense to add a criticism section. Bristledidiot ( talk) 18:18, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
