The statement that Bethlehem bought Sparrows Point in 1961 has been corrected. BSC purchased it from PA-MD Steel in 1916. Maybe a thoughtless inversion of numbers but more likely the writer ripped the 1961 date off the falacious Johns Hopkins link on the bottom of the page.
I suggest that this link be removed. It does have great images, the technical details can be found elsewhere and the history is inaccurate.
Mark Reutter's blog would be an altogether better link.
