Basic information to add to this article: what does the "Sov" in Sovtek stand for. Is it "Soviet"? If so, why isn't this mentioned in the current version of the article?

It might stand for 'Soviet', or it might be a contraction of 'Saratov', were the factory is or was. We should not add either without a reliable source.
