Patrol Area of

I think I should explain this. The actual term used in the Russian OOB is ob'yekty, which literally means objects. However, in the military sense it can mean structures, and targets. In my opinion (and it is just that), the real meaning here is the actual area of responsibility of the unit in terms of installations, facilities and other possible locations that the enemy may choose to attack. In this sense the meaning is more an area-related definition then a specific location, so I opt to translate as "Patrol Area of" since this describes the operational activity of the unit within the realm of its responsibilities.-- mrg3105 mrg3105 03:44, 3 January 2008 (UTC) reply
