Updating page Sept 2019

Hi

This page is quite out of date, some more up to date information below to help update the page.

Instead of the second and third paragraph: The council area elects 61 councillors from 28 wards. Following the May 2019 local elections, South Gloucestershire Council comprises 33 Conservative councillors, 17 Liberal Democrat councillors and 11 Labour councillors. The current Chair of South Gloucestershire Council is Brian Allinson (Conservative) and the Vice Chair is June Bamford (Conservative). <ref> https://council.southglos.gov.uk/mgElectionResults.aspx?ID=2&RPID=3638416<ref>

Leader of the Council is: Cllr Toby Savage, Conservative since 17 May 2018 <ref> http://sites.southglos.gov.uk/newsroom/newsroom-email/new-leader-cabinet-chair-and-vice-chair-appointed-at-annual-full-council-meeting/<ref>

Chief executive is: Dave Perry since 12 December 2018 <ref> http://sites.southglos.gov.uk/newsroom/business-and-economy/new-chief-executive-chosen/<ref>

And then the political split of the 61 seats is:

Administration

    Conservative (33)

Other Parties

    Liberal Democrat (17)
    Labour (11)

And the last election date was: 2 May 2019 <ref> https://council.southglos.gov.uk/mgElectionResults.aspx?ID=2&RPID=3638416<ref>

@ SouthGlosCouncil: Can you provide references for the changes you would like to make? The article is currently completely unreferenced and adding more unreferenced material is not ideal. Dharmalion76 ( talk) 15:25, 26 September 2019 (UTC) reply
