@ AlexTheWhovian and Dyrnych: Why was this moved from Sofia to Sophia without a discussion? Sophia with ph is from the Greek, and is a very old-fashioned way of transliterating the name (see Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, which academics used to spell Sophia). Sofia with f is the more common transliteration from Cyrillic and I believe the preferred transliteration on Wikipedia. It would be only in very rare cases that transliteration like this would be accepted (ie Joseph Stalin, which is technically Iosif, but basically the entirety of the English word knows him as "Joseph"). The best sources for this article are going to be Russian as opposed to Latin, so it's incorrect that most spell it Sophia. Thank you. —Мандичка YO 😜 10:24, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
@ Toddy1: I don't understand your revert. The Vital article template is clearly not a wikiproject. It should sit on its own, above the wikiproject shell. See also WP:TPL. Modulus12 ( talk) 19:57, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Xenia Borisovna which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — RMCD bot 23:03, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
