I see somebody else just shuffled the list of levels into WikiBooks. :P I still make a case for the fact that the rest of the entries for the Sonic series (and, indeed, most videogames period) list what levels the game has. BlazeHedgehog 08:54, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
I think that the current format of the list of stages is quite adequate. In many video games, it is alright to list the stages. Just because of the nature of this game, however, that is not a wise idea. Because there are 4 teams, there are also 4 parts to each stage. As anyone who reads the WikiBooks page can see, the list of stages alone is more than clearly enough to form its own article. Other games (see the other Sonic games) have brief lists of stages. Even if a short description is given of each stage, the other Sonic games' list of stages come nowhere near to that of this one. I think the brief list in the Wikipedia article and the more detailed description in WikiBooks is a wise move.

Do we really, actually, seriously need sections for quotes? I can see it from a movie, where dialogue is often a centerpiece, but this is a videogame, and Sonic Heroes at that (which seriously de-emphasized plot compared to previous games in the series). The dialogue generally involves telling you how to play the game, or stating the bleedingly obvious rather than anything worth quoting (Good examples are what's listed for the quotes now). I mean, years down the line, are people actually going to be saying, "Man, remember when Tails said, 'hey look, it's sonic!' Good times, man. Good times. Another complaint is the lack of variation. Many fans said "It sucks that you just do the same levels in the same order with a few changes every time". This could of particularly improved in the sense that Team Dark's first cut-sense is in Eggman's base, yet their first level is Seaside Hill. This also a contridiction as to how the plot makes no real sense; such as why Froggy was kidnapped in the first place. Also the Chao that cream rescues appears nowhere else at all
First, it isn't written correclty. Second, it does have some good points, useful notes and facts!...But this part "It sucks that you just do the same levels in the same order with a few changes every time"."The word "you" needs to be changed! Some people say that Froggy was in all likelyhood taken by Metal Sonic because his DNA had merged with Chaos in past Sonic games. Metal Sonic probably needed Froggy and Chocola Chao to gain the ability to liquify himself, as Chao are decendants of Chaos, and during the storyline of Sonic Adventure, Froggy found Chaos missing tail.

Chaos didnt "demutate" Froggy seeing as he still has a tail. Froggy found the missing tail by swallowing a chaos emerald. In sonic adventure since froggy swallowed the emerald he gained chaos's tail and chaos needed froggy to get his tail. And chao do have something to do with the chaos emeralds but we'll probably never findout unless Sonic team chooses to tell us. I dont beleive he needed froggy or a chao to liquify himself but he probably needed the chao to get the chaos energy from froggy.(When you think about it metal madness and overlord kinda look like a metal perfect chaos) And if you look at the paper is shows a hedgehog running away with froggy and chocola. Since sonic nor shadow had them and they emerged from the liquid eggman/metalsonic I think its safe to assume metal sonic was out to copy chaos's DNA. Also he says at one point all life form data succesfuly copied so he may have also copied the rest of the gangs DNA. Fwooshlewooshle ( talk)

Oh I get you
NO! we still don't need it, the same applies for other PC games. I have 3 cd of Enter the Matrix, but disc 1 plays.
In PC Games, no matter how many cd's a game contains. The first cd will always have the main data for the game to run, the rest of the cd will contain, textures, music and sound files.
So...we really don't need it, if we do. Then we will have to state in every PC Games article that cd 1 works.
Anyway, we don't need that, what we need is: System Requirments for the computer. I guest it isn't in the Requiremnt box nor a Section/Sub Section. So suggest you, 84.71.79.135 or me should put the requirement computer system specs.
Also we need this for Sonic Adventure DX.
They do not make an appearance in the game, for all we know and can tell from what we see, Sonic created those "barriers" around them to allow them to stay with him during the final battle, as they cannot fly (at least Tails can't stay in the air indefinitly). That "proof" of their existence in the filenames "st" and "sk" are irrelevant, as they needed to add a different filename to distinguish Tails and Knuckles with and without the barriers, as they aren't a seperate entitie but are one with Tails and Knuckles. And also Tails can only turn Super (possibly) with the Super Emeralds, even if some don't consider that canon. Czin 03:00, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

The Reception and Reveiews sections seem to contradict each other. The reception section makes it seem as if reviews were overwhelmingly positive, but Metacritic shows that most reviewers gave the game only fair or good scores, which the reviews section reflects. Reception does seem to be written like an ad, even though it is sourced. Suggestions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.108.234.114 ( talk) 18:48, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
The reason, the reception said the reviews were positive is because critics actually like this 3D sonic game better than the previous or newer 3D ones. I recall most of the reviews stating that the experience was better than the Sonic Adventure games.........even though Sonic fans consider the Sonic Adventure games to be the best of the 3D sonic franchise.-- S200048 ( talk) 23:04, 5 January 2008 (UTC)s200048
What's with the huge gap? Reddashz ( talk) 02:10, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reddashz
There are way too many story elements that say the contrary. The article says that the creator didn't want it to be a continuation of the Sonic Adventure games so more people would buy it. I'm guessing in the end they just didn't use the title Sonic Adventure and kept it in line with the other games. Here are the indicators that it is a sequel.
A) It had Shadow and Rouge, introduced in Sonic Adventure 2
B) The characters new each other, like how the heroes knew Shadow and Rouge
C) Everyone thought Shadow was dead, like at the end of Sonic Adventure 2
D) If you get an E rank with Team Dark Omega mentions Beta and Gamma from Sonic Adventure 1
E) The same voice cast is used
F) Casinopolis from the Sonic Adventure 1 is referenced by Amy in the casino world —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.27.39.106 ( talk) 20:57, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I've noticed some problems with the PS2 version. When in the menus, if you press X at certain times, it will reset the game. 67.188.172.165 04:52, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
That's only when you're on the main menu, and that's SUPPOSED to happen. The O button serves as the X button in Sonic Heroes.
He's talking about the X button the PS2 you retard. 77.97.245.149 14:36, 6 August 2007 (UTC)DanZieBoy
I was at EB Games earlier and am certain I saw a promotional box for Sonic Heroes on Nintendo DS. Can anyone confirm this by providing sources with more information? - James Foster 10:20, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Is this the only E-rated game to contain blasphemy? (Amy says "Oh my god!" in mutiple levels) 77.97.245.149 14:37, 6 August 2007 (UTC)DanZieBoy That's pretty minor. It should'nt be put here. 88.109.50.205 16:46, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Nope, in Rayman 3 there's this fairy that say some... stuff... Allyourbasearebelongtousomg ( talk) 02:05, 28 January 2008 (UTC) And I only noticed Amy's BLASPHEMY in the first level which did not take place in SPARTA! Allyourbasearebelongtousomg ( talk) 02:07, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
I am catholic, and i know what blasphemy is, its claming you are GOD, it's not the same as saying God's name in vain.-- Sonicobbsessed ( talk) 02:03, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
