What is the point of the "appearance" section?? -- AnonMoos ( talk) 12:53, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
I just came here to ask "what is the point of the Appearance section," but it looks like someone beat me to it. I'm tempted to delete it on grounds of irrelevant stupidity. What say y'all? Djkuula ( talk) 15:20, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
The current article seems to stop with any encyclopedic information about Chang-Diaz with the election and the January 2009 inauguration. Is this an accurate reflection of reality? I.e., the reader might assume that she has done nothing notable since, while in office. This might be true for many or most politicians—and it might even be a good thing—but it does seem that, if anything of note has been done, it ought to be added to the article. Either you're a part of the solution or you're part of the problem. See a problem, fix it or zip it.

her biological mother seems to be one "canoce buker", franklin chang-diaz's first wife. and yet neither she nor he seem to acknowledge this fact. neither wiki even MENTIONS her -- did frank give birth himself?!
(this article, strangely, doesn't mention the SECOND wife either...)
what's the deal here? usually pretty rare for a child to deny birth-mother existence. has anyone ever asked her about this? 66.30.47.138 ( talk) 02:53, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
Based on personal knowledge of the family: Her mother is Candace Buker Chang, who has kept the name Chang. She worked at Bay Cove and previously at DCF. She lives with Sonia and family in Jamaica Plain. Triangular ( talk) 20:13, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
