Sorry folks, filk is not parody. Some filk (and some really good stuff) is parody, but a lot of filkers (myself included) avoid parody, if only due to my inability to play guitar well enough to make a professionally written song sound like it should. As a result I've removed most references to "filk" from the article, and replaced them with "parody". UrbanTerrorist 03:02, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
