Many predict that the popularity of the single will increase, hopefully resulting in a Top 10 position. However upon release the single only managed to chart at #29 this could be due to the fact that the single was released Christmas week, when many shops are closed for two days of sales.
Sounds like nonsense - surely all other singles would receive the same penalty of two fewer sales days.
