In Echo & the Bunnymen (album) there's this bit that says "According to Will Sergeant, the band were under pressure from Warner Music chairman Rob Dickins to produce an album that would replicate the success of Peter Gabriel's recent multiplatinum hit album So: "I couldn't believe it when Rob Dickins brought us into his office and played us Peter Gabriel's album: 'I want you to sound like this!'. This makes me think So had a bit of an impression on other record companies to make bands have albums that sound like So (even bands that don't sound at all like Peter Gabriel), or at least in this instance. Quite an impressive bit of influence I think. Could something like this go in the page?-- 90.214.81.21 ( talk) 17:13, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

The article states that Excellent Birds was a very last minute addition to the album. Do we know if a new recording was made or was an unused master from the Anderson session used? The vocals are definitely different than that used on Mister Heartbreak, plus the song had to be combined with This is the Picture (though this lyric forms part of Anderson's song too). 50.66.121.20 ( talk) 05:48, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

It says "The track numbers correspond to the original release" which I assume is true but the track listing is not the original. It was confusing trying to find, for example, the personnel for "This is the picture" as it is the 8th listed track but it was the 9th on the original release. I had to go to another source to find out what the original order was. Would it make sense to change the track references to match the list shown? JohnRipa ( talk) 21:23, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Track listing is all wrong. 24.203.147.94 ( talk) 00:46, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
