Summary of edit

Changes made to the article:

  • Edited the header to identify one of the focal points of the song being Noname, since most articles and news outlets place importance on this aspect of the song
  • Changed critical reception sentence in header to better reflect what the critics in the critical reception section are saying
  • Removed information about his endeavors since KOD released, since that’s more suited for his personal page
  • Moved information about Noname’s previous tweet to “Background” section, since it makes more sense than including it in the composition section
  • Removed part about Twitter thread from composition section (he never directly says that he’s talking about a Twitter thread in the song)
  • Cleared up ambiguity about whether or not the song was addressing Noname, because despite never directly stating that it was about her, most sources agree that his Twitter thread regarding the song made it clear that it was
  • Moved Noname’s response as well as Cole’s response to the controversy to the reception section, because it doesn’t make sense in the composition section since it’s not part of the song itself
