Aruba is not a UN member, need for note c) in the list — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.162.134.23 ( talk) 14:17, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
I've updated the article, with a bit more in the way of introduction and the addition of Bahrain to the original list. In addition, I've reordered the table to reflect the three regions described in the references. I have made the assumption that Bahrain and Singapore would fit into the AIMS region, while Timor-Leste would be in the Pacific - I can't find an exact reference for those though. There is also a bit of contradiction between the UN and AOSIS sites about the membership of the Dominican Republic and Timor-Leste. I have taken the AOSIS version as being true for the sake of building the table, though I have a feeling it may be out of date. If anyone can find a reliable and recent source either way, that would be great!
I will try to update the pages for Least developed countries and Landlocked developing countries in the same fashion when I have the chance. -- Nick Moss ( talk) 14:44, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Several of the states, especially in the last column, are marked with an e, indicating they are not members of the UN. Sao Tome, Singapore, etc. are members.
How can singapore be a developing state? 2601:640:4080:5960:D528:3270:B717:97F9 ( talk) 16:39, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

Why are Bahrain and Brunei not included in the list of the Small Island Developing States? Singapore is already included. 42.200.36.189 ( talk) 10:46, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
