Slavonic Josephus seems to contradict The New Testament in it's Jesus and John the Baptist references
Which is a fact that people wanting to make it a Christian forgery ignore.

In Middle English there are mass borrowings or foreigners from Latin, Norman and so-called Old French. The latter was considered a "high language".
Moreover, for the Middle Ages with its " mass culture", this story was like that of another galaxy. Therefore, the possible translation was only in Old Bulgarian in Preslav during the time of Simeon the Great.
