Artsworld

I think the content of the Artsworld article ought really to be moved to this article, with the necessary edits and additions due to the name change (and Artsworld then becoming a redirect to this article). The early 90s channel could either be discussed at the start of that article or actually have it's own entry - they are in fact two distinct channels with the same name and loosely similar content. Any comments/objections? -- Matthew Humphreys 08:39, 4 March 2007 (UTC) reply

  • I must say I was surprised to see a new article on this with the old 1991 Sky Arts channel having its own article called defunct. Its the same channel, same programme types, and owned by the same company but with the following timeline:-

Sky Arts 1990-91 - Closedown 1991 - 99? - Artsworld 1999?-2007 - Sky Arts 2007 onwards

We have come full circle, and this channel is no longer defunct, it has been relaunched. What we must state is that there does need to be a note saying what happened pre 1991 and the time inbetween to 2007. The articles should therefore in my opinion, be merged with the history of this channel in BSB days. I support a merge of the current Sky Arts article and Sky Arts (defunct channel) into one -- PrincessBrat 22:00, 15 June 2007 (UTC) reply

I realise this is a little while after the event, but I agree too, and have merged this article into the main 'Sky Arts' article. Hope that meets with everyone's approval. Bonusballs ( talk) 11:35, 15 November 2009 (UTC) reply
