Would I be right in thinking that the £9.99 subscription is completely separate from a normal Sky subscription, so that you can either:
a) Buy this only, watch the channels listed, but not otherwise have access to Sky channels.
b) Buy this and a standard Sky subscription and get everything (but most of the Sky Channels won't be HD)
Please explain in the article, especially how the channels fit in with the overall range of Sky Channels, ie what you can't get in HD as well as what you can. CalJW 01:41, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
As far as I am aware, these channels have never been rumoured to be coming to the Sky HD platform. I think there is some confusion here relating to the new SD channels with these names. I have removed them from the rumoured list for the time being, if this is incorrect, please provide a reference. Sibruk 21:53, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

itv hd is no longer broadcasting so can't be a possible channel for sky hd
For those of us who still don't have a HD TV, or those who do, but prefer to watch the normal sky channels, will they still be able to get Dolby 5:1 digital sound from the free channels and those non sky ones such as BBC, ITV or BBC HD ?
Also, will the PVR work on the free channels without a sky subscription? - And does the box have freeview too? —The preceding

There is no indication as to which HD channels are shufflecast of the non-HD equivalents I believe Sky Arts, Sky One, Sky Movies 9 & 10 are.

Image:Sky HD STB with Remote HiRes.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Should the notice still be up stating that this article cites no sources, since it now has 6?

I have example shots of the improved quality that sky+ HD brings, and comparison shots to the standard SD quality. I would be happy for you to use this images. If an editor would like to add them. http://www.hdtvlounge.net/wp-content/uploads/lost_comparison.jpg http://www.hdtvlounge.net/wp-content/uploads/Lost_SD_Desmond_Small.jpg Ma2t ( talk) 20:36, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Sky+ HD recently started sponsoring the British Cycling track team:

Is it worth a mention on this article?

Shouldn't the list of channels\future channels be moved to the dedicated page, due to it's size. One day this will have to be done, should it be done now? —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarkLight748 ( talk • contribs) 14:20, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Its not that long, and without the list that page would be very small, probably best to wait for a few more channels —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.108.172.197 ( talk) 12:35, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
