@ Rob108 Please explain why you are adding this here? what is the relevance of this murder for this article? Are murders happening in a city added to the city article? Please do not add without discussing. Venkat TL ( talk) 15:33, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
This is turning out to be an important incident as now there are protests around this incident. It is a brutal murder and must be reported. By specifically deleting my content pointing to the violence by farm protestors and specifically Sikh extremists, you are showing a clear bias for violence perpetrated by farm protestors. So, either counter my sources and facts, opr stop deleting my content on this and other pages. Thanks. Rob108 ( talk)Rob108 — Preceding undated comment added 15:37, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
So, you did not delete the section before I edited it. It clearly shows that you had a problem with my specifics and not the section itself. If you repeat the deletion, I will report you for vandalism. Rob108 ( talk)rob108
The section on Singhu Border Lynching of Dalit (2021) was there before I edited it. And since you removed it after my edits, it means you are bullying me. I will report you for vandalism. Rob108 ( talk) rob108
While I mostly agree with Venkat TL ( talk) that this is primarily a "City/Village page" should not have details of any event or incident. By similar logic, the protest event should also have a very brief mention around 1-2 sentences. Also, by same logic, since Singhu border has once again come into limelight and widely reported in news over the brutal Dalit murder, it can have a very brief mention of 1 phrase or 1 sentence. WP guidelines allow City pages to mention very briefly a recent incident that has been widely reported in WP:RS sources. I think this will help us reach a consensus. We can very briefly mention 1 sentence that Singhu border again came into news for the brutal Singhu border Lynching incident in which a dalit youth was killed. Or we can just mention 1 phrase that there was a brutal Singhu border lynching (2021) incident, providing WP:RS sources. Dhy.rjw ( talk) 22:20, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
Agree with Talk that this incident should not be given more weight than protest event, so it has be very briefly mentioned compared to protest event. Also Venkat TL is right that this page is primarily a City/Village page, and no event or incident should have details on this page. So, very brief mention should be the consensus. Dhy.rjw ( talk) 22:25, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
Helllo Venkat TL Thanks for your message for building consensus. I would suggest to add 1 sentence as below with relevant WP:RS references.
Meanwhile in October 2021, this site again gained national attention for a widely reported brutal lynching incident. [1] Dhy.rjw ( talk) 09:15, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
