After having surfed the web, I can find no reference to author Gautam Malkani having Singaporean links. Can anyone shed any light on this. Also, it looks like Donna Ong went to unviersity in the UK, but that does not make her British. Can anyone provide a source to suggest she is. If not, both these names should be deleted as inaccurate. Indisciplined ( talk) 13:29, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
This page also lacks a source for there beeing 80,000 people of Singaporean descent in the UK. Indisciplined ( talk) 19:27, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Ancestral numbers uknown, but likely to be at least double Singaporean born population
(0.14% of British population)
No source of any kind was supplied for this. If we are to be encyclopedic we have to do a bit better than 'likely to be' followed by an apparantly random figure. I'm taking it out unless anyone can provide a source.

I've had to remove the words 'Ethnic Singaporean' from the opening of the article as there is no such thing - Singapore is a multi-ethnic society. Tried to come up with the best form of words I could, but still looks a bit clunky. As for the 'Singaporean Community' I dunno, is there one? The only sources quoted are just an indication of the numbers of British people born in Singapore, they don't indicate the existance of a 'community' as such. Can someone provide some more sources to flesh it out? Sorry if it sounds that I'm going on a lot about this article, but it has some serious inherent problems, and I'm not sure how you'd go about fixing them.
