This article is in desperate need of cleanup. Additionally, the last few paragraphs are devoted entirely to the subject's brother and should either be split into a separate article ( William Roll (diplomat), perhaps) if he meets Wikipedia's general notability guidelines or have any information not directly relevant to this article's subject deleted if he does not.  Cjmclark ^{( Contact)} 17:38, 20 June 2011 (UTC) reply

I am not convinced he is noteable. However I will split the article, and if I am wrong then it will survive and if he is not notable then at least he got a chance Op47 ( talk) 00:03, 28 January 2012 (UTC) reply
